Summer Cocktails.


 Fifth and Madison Candles

We were so inspired by Fifth and Madison tropical aromas that we created summer cocktails from three of our favorites scents (Cabana, Guavany and Cosmopolitan). The recipes are so easy and delicious, perfect for any occasion. Also be sure to check our other cocktails recipe inspired by Tocca.

Cabana Cocktail (coconut, mango and lime):

1. Put the mango fruit, coconut milk and rum into a blender. Cover the blender and puree on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds, or until the drink is smooth and thick
2. Half-fill two Collins or highball glasses with fresh ice cubes. Evenly divide the contents of the blender into each glass. Top each glass with ½ cup club soda.
3. Garnish each glass with a fresh lime wedge and serve immediately.

Guavany Cocktail (guava and tea):

• 1 oz Captain Morgan’s spiced rum
• 1 oz gin
• 1 oz vodka
• 1 oz tequila
• 1 oz Cointreau or triple sec
• 1 oz fresh limejuice
• 2 oz guava nectar (such as Kearns)
• 2 oz club soda (or to taste)
• Lime wedges as garnish

Pour all the ingredients into a large, tall 10-14 oz ice-filled Collins or Chimney style glass. Top with the club soda and gently stir. Garnish with as many fresh lime wedges as you like.

Cosmopolitan Cocktail:

• 1 oz Smirnoff® vodka
• 1/2 oz triple sec
• 1/2 oz Rose's® lime juice
• 1/2 oz cranberry juice

Shake vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve.

Candle Month

September is Candle Month!! We are happy to see the store full and restock of all our favorites scents and brands. To celebrate Candle Month we present to you the NEW Fifth&Madison!! They recently redesign the jar and reduce the prices. YAY!! They still have all our favorite scents and some NEW holiday scents (Pumpkin Chai Latte, Twelve Nights, Roasted Chestnuts and Joix de Noel). They were instant hits and flew off the shelves.

After Feedback, we narrowed down the favorites like Cabana, Couture, and Guavany; and now for this Spring we have some new scents to tantalize you with like Vintage Leather, Hinoki, Torrocco Martini, Mediterranean Fig and staple scents Red Currant and Pomegranate. A scent to match any occasion can be found in this  collection no matter your mood and the beautiful dark brown jar blends well with any decor and is luminescent enough to enjoy the candle as it burns.

I hope you all have been enjoying the Fall Season so far. I know I have, with the cool days it makes the evenings especially nice for burning candles when I get home. We still have some Pumpkin Chai left in stock and its been great smelling this fragrance while working in the store. The scent gets me in the Fall Mood and makes me think of the fun times I have shared with my Family  during this time of the year.
